Connected By Energy

  (ENG) This struck me as one of the most incredible places I have seen so far. The starting point is the small town, which is also pretty. It overlooks the sea and offers tourists from all over the world a chance to relax and eat good seafood. There are several resorts for those who want to stay a little longer, but also many hostels, for those like me who do what they have to do and then move on. Of course there are also very normal hotels for those who choose a middle ground.  I decided to stay here 2 nights. On the day of arrival I just wanted to walk around, relax and take a bath. It's December and it's always an experience to find a place to soak at least a little in the ocean. Okay, the water was not super hot, however, the sun was doing its part and overall I must admit it was pleasant. Having the next day full, I rented a bicycle and went to the Paracas Nature Reserve.   (ENG) This is another one of those places that I discovered by accident. I had heard about it, actually, but I had no idea that it was located here in Peru. What's more, I always thought it was one of those places that was practically impossible to get to, so not even remotely did I think I could just add it as a stop on this trip. Instead, that's exactly what happened. Having finished everything I had to do and see around Cusco, a decision had to be made: go further south and then rush at the last moment toward Lima, or start heading north, thus bringing me closer toward my destination. I opted for the latter. The reasons are mainly 2: the first is that I only had 2 goals heading south, and the second is that it also seems easier to do it this way. I am sorry to skip Arequipa, I am sure it is beautiful. There are many who go there and I really think it is worth it.
