(ENG) Another of the things you can do in California is...go to Arizona! I know, actually this state offers so many things to do and see that you would have no reason to cross the border, regardless of how much time you have. Having said that, however, in my opinion it is really worthwhile to push a little inland and visit completely different places. I think Arizona is an ideal choice. First of all because it is fairly easy to get to. Second because it has so much to offer. Here, in fact, you can find deserts, mountains, forests, lakes. But not only that, it is home to the beautiful and magical Sedona. And finally, the most famous and sought after, here you can visit the Grand Canyon. Believe me, if you have never seen it, it is one of those things that must be done at least once in a lifetime.   (ENG) One of the activities you can do here is to participate in the taping of a TV show. If you live near Los Angeles I think that's almost a must. No well, not really, however many movies and shows are produced in this area. So why not? Especially if you are a fan or maybe you have a favorite one that you follow often. I am not one of those. I haven't watched TV for a few years now, but nevertheless it seemed like a great opportunity to try something new. Plus, it's free too! Which is still a plus. For these kinds of things I have my dear sister to thank. She always finds these possibilities and shares them with me. At least whenever possible, when I am also around. She, in fact, had already participated in something similar and as soon as the opportunity appeared she jumped on it, dragging us along as well. The show in question was, The masked singer.   (ENG) So my adventure begins here, in California. This is not my first time here, and I am not a person who goes to the same place over and over again, unless it is a special place. And this certainly is. Obviously the people close to me who live here make that the main reason. But it must be said that there is also more. I love to experiment and explore, and this place is really rich in that respect. If I were to describe all the adventures and experiences I have had and lived here, I would have enough material for a whole book, but I would start by telling you about the current ones. Arrived on Thursday evening, I had a day to recover a little from the long journey and then Saturday here comes an opportunity to do something interesting: weekend in the desert. Said like that it doesn't sound like anything special, but I find it really hard to say no to something like that. (ENG)  And so my journey began. The first stop should have been the easy one: a visit of about 3 weeks to California. This is where my brother and sister live, with their wife and husband respectively. So a safe place to stay and people I love to spend time with. Everything was perfect except for the fact that, just hours before departure, my first flight of this big trip,was cancelled. My trip to Los Angeles was supposed to leave from Turin. It was then to be followed by a long one-night stopover in London in which I had planned precisely to begin writing this blog. Finally there was to be the final flight to the destination. Nothing. Everything to do over. I know this is not a great thing, considering that lately especially low-cost airlines cancel flights all the time. I personally have never suffered these things.
